Kalamazoo, MI (BBC)

Bible Baptist Church is located in Kalamazoo, MI. Entering into a Phase 2 contract with Zion Church Builders in 2007, this was the second time Zion Church Builders worked with Bible Baptist, but at a different location.

Construction for this new project began in March 2008.  This project consisted of building a 15,418 square foot addition to the existing building.  The new addition includes a sanctuary (seating 519), grand foyer, restrooms, meeting room, Visitors Reception Center, Choir Room, Changing Rooms, Communion Prep room, and storage areas.  Construction was finished in March 2009.  The project's final budget came in at $1,486.685.52.  Zion Church Builders was able to complete this project around $96.00 per square foot.  Under the leadership of Rev. Kevin Lavender, Sr., this church is now able to freely worship in an area designed for its purpose.  The project team included:  David Simpson, Project Superintendent/Project Manager; Jim Hinze, General Superintendent.
